Khabib Nurmagomedov had one of the many standout performances at this weekend, and extended his incredible undefeated streak to 24 after defeating Michael Johnson via third round submission. Khabib's win put him in the prime spot for the next lightweight title shot, now his home town is celebrating in a big way.

When Nurmagomedov returned home this week he was greeted by a sea of fans crowding in the tiny airport in Makhachkala, Dagestan.

I got chills watching this, it really is a sight to behold, and incredibly well deserved.

This makes me so happy. The love that fans have for their hometown heroes is something I can "dawwwwwww" about all day long.

UFC President Dana White says the UFC is thinking about something big for Russia and perhaps that's Khabib vs. featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor. I think a Russia card might be the only place where the Irish fans would be outmatched.

Let's make this fight happen!
