didn't exactly endear themselves to UFC fans earlier today when the sports network managed to mess up one of their UFC 205 graphics. Looking ahead to UFC 205 the network was covering the tale of the tape for the event's headline bout which will see attempt to defend his lightweight belt against featherweight champion .

When presenting the tale of the tape, there seemed to be something rather odd about the graphic. In place of current champ Eddie Alvarez, ESPN accidentally featured an image of former champ . Yikes.

Needless to say, the mistake was pounced on by fight fans. In the age of social media nothing goes amiss and nothing is forgiven.

To make things worse, Eddie Alvarez was a featured guest on to talk about his upcoming fight with "Mystic Mac." Let's hope the champ didn't notice his exclusion. Thankfully for the ESPN staff member responsible for the accident, Alvarez had more pressing matters to attend to.

With the fight just four days away, even media obligations won't get in the way of Eddie Alvarez's preparation, as he was spotted training in between his interview slots at the ESPN studios.

The MMA world is gearing up for the UFC's historical New York debut this coming Saturday. With four current champions, four former champions on the card, UFC 205 is set to be one of the biggest and baddest combat sport events of all time.

UFC 205 takes place at on November 12. Headlined by Eddie Alvarez vs Conor McGregor, the fight card also features a co-main event of vs and vs .
