#Batman has more than a few tricked out rides, but this real-life robo-tank would definitely give the #DarkKnight and his collection of armored whips a run for the money.

In the latest episode of MegaBots, the crew of fighting robot enthusiasts takes a trip to Waterboro, Maine to check out an insanely awesome machine built by Howe and Howe Technologies, Inc. While the tank functions perfectly fine on its own, the treads were created as an upgrade for Team USA's creation in the upcoming Giant Robot Duel.

"When you need extra firepower designing America's most badass fighting robot, you start by going to America's most badass tank designers," pilot Matt Oehrlein says in the video.

If you haven't heard of MegaBots before, it's a web series that chronicles Team USA's journey to the upcoming machine vs. machine battle with Japan's Suidobashi Heavy Industry. The online show's second episode shows how America's robot is upgrading its hot wheels by adding 5-ton tank treads with 300 horsepower.

"The tread base grips the earth with two massive steel treads and also houses the advanced hydraulic power plant that powers all of the robots actuators," Oehrlein says.

When the robot is done fighting its Japanese counterpart, perhaps the team can set another match-up with the Caped Crusader and his batmobile in a tank vs. tank duel.
