Mickey Gall wants to hurt Sage Northcutt, really bad.
The UFC welterweight, who defeated WWE star CM Punk at UFC 203 this past September, is scheduled to fight Sage Northcutt at UFC on FOX 22 on December 17. This bout will be contested in the welterweight division.
"I'm going to do a lot to him," Gall said in a recent interview with TMZ. "I don't see this being one round. I see this one longer than that. I'm going to break his bones. I'm going to hurt him bad, I'm going to bust him up, I'm going to tear things, you know, and I'm going to put a beating on him."
Although that seems pretty rough punishment for the 20 year-old Northcutt, Gall says he doesn't hate him, instead he loves him.
"I don't dislike him," Gall said. "I think he's very corny, I think he's a silly boy. I think he's kind of a dork, but I don't hate him at all. I love him. I cant wait to fight him and get my hands on him."
Despite Northcutt having way more experience than Gall, Gall believes Northcutt "sucks" everywhere.
"His boxing sucks, his ground game is pretty bad, so there's holes on both sides," Gall explained. "I just know that when I fight him, it's going to be really bad for him. He's going to be feeling like crap."
Gall's confidence expands farther than his bout with Northcutt. The 24 year-old fighter, who's only 3-0 in professional MMA, says he's going to be the next UFC champion sometime in the future.
"I'm going to be a UFC champion," Gall said. "I don't know time tables, those things are hard to say, but eventually, yeah, I'll be a UFC champion."
