Derek Brunson smashed Uriah Hall with a vicious left hook to end the fight in the first round.
Brunson jumped on top of him and finished Hall before referee, Herb Dean stopped the fight and 3:19 of the first round. Hall protested the stoppage, and popped up quickly after Dean called the fight off.
It was the first time Hall has been stopped in the UFC.
Hall came out hot, but Brunson tied him up early and held him against the cage.
Hall eventually pulled free, but never let loose with his trademark kicks. Brunson caught him with the hook as he was coming in, sending Hall's head snapping back.
The two did not like each other going into the fight and Hall barely acknowledged Brunson, who tried to shake hands with him after the fight.
