Three highlight reel finishes gave spark to UFC Fight Night Hidalgo on Saturday.

In the main event, Michael Johnson stunned observers with a vicious knockout of betting favorite, Dustin Poirier. The knockout topped another stunner in the co-main event, where rising star, Derek Brunson TKO'd Uriah Hall with a big left hook.

Hall lacked aggression in the opening round of the fight and paid the price.

The matches book-ended an incredible 19-second finish to kick off the main show, when Chas Skelly submitted Maximo Blanco in just 19 seconds.

The three fights in the middle were at times drab, but they showcased endurance and survival by fighters trying to make an impact in the UFC.

The middle three fights all went the distance, featuring some high-level grappling and striking.
