Interim light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones was temporarily suspended ahead of his UFC 200 bout with Daniel Cormier due to a failed USADA test, and while that usually carries a 2 year suspension, Jones was hopeful he'd be returning soon.

That doesn't look to be the case anymore.

According to a tweet that Jones replied to this week, he is not expecting a return at UFC 205.

Over a month ago, Jones took to Instagram to share news that he was hopeful a return was happening soon.

"We found out lots of really good news," he said. "And I am expecting to be back in the octagon really soon."

UFC president, Dana White also echoed those sentiments a few days later.

"He's not wrong," White said on SportsCenter in mid August. "Things have taken a turn and it's looking a little more positive than it was."

By the looks of the tweet, he seems to know that he will at least be out until November.

UFC 205 takes place November 12 in New York City at Madison Square Garden.
