Will CM Punk be back inside the Octagon?

Maybe, if an initial report about his drawing power is correct. UFC 203 might have popped as many as 800,000 PPV buys, according to MMA Fighting.

If that's true, that's a testament to the popularity of CM Punk.

It would be the most PPV buys for a UFC show that doesn't feature Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey or Conor McGregor.

Forbes Magazine also reported the PPV rumor.

Former WWE wrestler, CM Punk debuted at UFC 203, losing in 2:14 seconds to Mickey Gall. Punk, 37, submitted to the 23-year-old, via rear naked choke, after getting taken down early in the fight. Punk has vowed to return to the cage, even as UFC President Dana White said that his next fight "probably shouldn't be in the UFC."

Time will tell if he really was a significant PPV draw at UFC 203. If he was, we might be hearing "Cult of Personality" at least one more time inside the Octagon. Can anyone say Mike Jackson vs. CM Punk?
