Stipe Miocic won his first ever title defense this weekend when he defeated Alistair Overeem via first round KO.

That performance earned him his seventh performance bonus, making him the only UFC heavyweight to manage that feat. In addition to his record breaking bout, he is also now tied with Derrick Lewis for the longest winning streak in the heavyweight division at four.

Surprisingly, Miocic's pay at UFC 203 wasn't the top payout though, despite the aforementioned accolades.

The heavyweight champ took home $600,000 (no win bonus), plus an additional $50,000 for his "Fight of the Night" honors. His opponent Alistair Overeem took home a base salary of $800,000 plus $50,000 for his part in the "Fight of the Night."

Outside of the main event, former WWE star CM Punk may not have won his debut, but he took home a nice consolation prize. Punk made a whopping $500,000 base salary. Mickey Gall meanwhile earned $15,000, plus an additional $15,000 win bonus.
