When Jimmie Rivera stepped into the Octagon, not many thought he stood a chance against tough UFC veteran, Urijah Faber, but he proved them wrong.

Rivera was able to secure a dominant, 30-27 unanimous victory over Faber, who was cut down slowly by the New Jersey native's leg kicks.

In fact, it was the leg kick that dropped Faber in the second round that sealed the deal, Faber was unable to recover in the third, despite landing an eye poke that left Rivera unable to see out of one eye.

This win marks the 19th consecutive win for Rivera (his fourth in the UFC). The loss is Faber's second in a row.
