When Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic revealed that he was going to fight in Rizin, the MMA world exploded with speculation.

For a while, fans were hopeful that our wild dreams of Cro Cop fighting Fedor Emelianenko again would come to fruition. Sadly, that didn't pan out, but now we do know who he will be facing in the Rizin Openweight Grand Prix: Hyun Man Myung.

Myung is a relative unknown 3-2 heavyweight who recently fought in ROAD FC. He's a kickboxer with one win at the K-1 2009 Grand Prix in Seoul. Myung will be fighting Cro Cop in the opening round of the Rizin 16-Man Openweight Grand Prix on Sept. 25th. His upcoming fight with Aorigele (who recently defeated Bob Sapp) in ROAD FC on Sept. 10th will now be canceled.

Rizin also announced the rest of the bouts for the Grand Prix, finalizing the card for this month's event.
