The 20 year MMA ban in New York has finally been lifted, and the UFC is planning what we all think (and hope) will be the biggest fight card of the year.

The event will be held in Madison Square Garden on Nov. 12, and fight rumors, reports and even some real announcements are starting to be made.

We know that even for diehard fans, it's hard to stay on top of what's confirmed, or just a rumor, so I will be personally monitoring the fight card and keeping everyone up to date as I discover what's real and what's not. Keep checking back, as I will be updating often.

The ticket sale date has not yet been announced. We will update the post when it is.

Paige VanZant

Paige hinted on her Snapchat that she had gotten a new hairstyle for New York. No opponent has been mentioned, and this news is still developing.

Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez

This is the hottest gossip on the MMA grapevine. According to a tweet from TalkMMA, his source says that this fight is targeted, but a contract isn't signed yet.

Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson

This is another match-up that seems destined for UFC 205. The pair is sure to face each other, that much we know. What we don't know is exactly where or when.

Yoel Romero vs. Chris Weidman

Rumors were swirling that this match-up was close to being done when Yoel posted a photo of himself signing a contract. He quickly removed the post, but not before we screenshot it. I'm pretty confident this is real, however, because it hasn't been announced by the UFC, I will keep it in the reports section.

Rashad Evans vs. Tim Kennedy

This fight was rumored months ago, and was brought into the spotlight again this time when Rashad confirmed the bout during the Titan FC 41 broadcast on UFC Fight Pass.

Donald Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum

This bout was originally supposed to be Cowboy vs. Robbie Lawler, but just two days after the bout was confirmed Lawler pulled out. According to Cowboy, who spoke to Lawler he decided he had not had enough time to recover from his previous knockout. Cerrone will now fight Gastelum.

Frankie Edgar vs. Jeremy Stephens

This bout was first reported by Brazilian news outlet Combate and later confirmed by the UFC on Instagram. There were no reports on the placement of the fight in the line-up.

Tim Boetsch vs Rafael Natal

This bout was announced via UFC's Instagram when they flashed the poster, alongside other UFC 205 bouts.

Liz Carmouche vs Katlyn Chookagian

This is the first female bout announced for UFC 205 and was confirmed via the UFC Instagram.

Thiago Alves vs Jim Miller

Alves was originally slated to face Al Iaquinta, but Iaquinta pulled out of the bout due to a contract dispute. According to reports Jim Miller has stepped in to face Alves.

Not Fighting After All

Gian Villante vs. Marcos Rogerio de Lima

Apparently this bout has been cancelled, according to, Viallante suffered a minor injury and has withdrawn from the card.

Thiago Alves vs Al Iaquinta

This bout had been confirmed for about a week but has since been cancelled due to a contract dispute involving Iaquinta.

Ronda Rousey

UFC President Dana White has publicly stated that Ronda will not return to the octagon at UFC 205.
