Well, I saw that one coming.

UFC 202 has reportedly hit the most Pay-Per-View buys in UFC history, and it's due, in large part, to Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.

According to MMAFighting.com, UFC 202 is expected to bring in a total of 1.65 million buys, setting it ahead of UFC 196 and UFC 100.

Two of the highest grossing PPV's were in 2016 alone, both starring McGregor and Diaz, which is ironic, because UFC 202 tickets were not selling well leading up to the bout. (Though, I am sure the water bottle throwing incident changed all that).

The show reportedly sold 12,657 tickets out of the 14,060 seats available. The live gate announced the night of the event was $7,629,010.

According to the report by MMAFighting.com, DirecTV numbers were the highest in the promotion's history.

These projected numbers would not include orders directly through the UFC for streaming so the final numbers could be even larger.
