Two former UFC heavyweight champions Josh Barnett and Andrei Arlovski put on a show at UFC Fight Night Hamburg, but Barnett's submission skills proved too much for the Arlovski.

Barnett won via a rear-naked choke at 2:05 of round 3. The fight had great moments of back-and-forth action, with both fighters rocking each other early. Arlovski seemed to have opportunities to finish Barnett, but couldn't quite put the flurry of punches together to pull off the win.

Both guy have knockout power in their fists, but it was Barnett's submission skills late in the fight that were too much to handle. It is the third straight loss for Arlovski, who won six fights in a row prior to Saturday's loss.

Barnett is a durable veteran who seems to figure out a way to win big fights.

Barnett cut a good promo, as usual, to end the fight.
