UFC women's strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk is back in training and looking quite sharp, despite not having any fight booked.
The Polish fighter is currently undefeated, with an impressive MMA record of 12-0. The 29-year-old Jedrzejczyk last last competed at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale back on July 8, where she defeated top contender, Claudia Gadelha via unanimous decision, in a five-round war that won Fight of the Night awards. That contest marked Jedrzejczyk's third title defense since taking the UFC strawweight belt away from Carla Esparza at UFC 185 on March 14, 2015.
Jedrzejczyk also holds an extensive kickboxing record of 27-2.
There is no official date when Jedrzejczyk will return to the octagon, but it's speculated that it will be against fellow Polish fighter, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, as Kowalkiewicz is the only fighter in the top-5 that hasn't already lost to Jedrzejczyk or is coming off a loss.
Kowalkiewicz last fought at UFC 201 in July, where she defeated top-ranked strawweight Rose Namajunas via split decision. Kowalkiewicz, also known as 'The Polish Princess', is currently undefeated with a record of 10-0, and is 3-0 in the UFC.
