Donald "Cowboy" Cerone has been calling out fighters left and right since his stunning win at UFC 202. First, during his post fight interview calling out lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, then asking for former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.

Now, it seems that one of those (or maybe a totally different opponent) is underway.

“It’s not 100 percent yet,” Cerrone said while a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience. “But it’s gonna be f--king good. Hopefully, today we get the double thumbs up,” he said. “Last night I got the half thumbs.”

Rogan seemed to know who the potential opponent was and giggled and jumped in his seat like an excited kid waiting for ice cream, but Cerrone said he couldn't reveal who he was fighting next.

“A fights brewing,” he said.

He also said that he hopes the fight will be at UFC 205, the first UFC card in New York.

“They didn’t put me on 200,” he said. “They f---ked me on that, but I want to be on Madison Square Garden.”
