Donald Cerrone has announced that he has been cast in the series, 'Godless,' which streams on Netflix.

Cerrone made the announcement while on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, and says that the filming will take place in his home state of New Mexico.

"Going to do cowboy (expletive)," Cerrone said.

The role includes six episodes and begins filming Sept. 12.

"I'm part of a gang, a train robbery gang. I'm excited," he said.

The show, which has been ordered as a limited series, stars Jeff Daniels, Jack O'Connell, Michelle Dockery, Merritt Weaver and Scoot McNairy. Scott Frank and Steven Soderbergh are on tap behind the camera.

According to the show's IMDB, the production is a western set in the 1880s.

The series is expected to debut on Netflix in 2017.
