Former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis is set to make his UFC featherweight debut on August 27, but his recent appearance on UFC Tonight have left some fans concerned.

Pettis's first UFC cut to 145 lbs. has clearly taken a toll on his body, and many are wondering if what effect this will have on his fighting ability.

You can see a side-by-side of Pettis in the Lightweight division (L) to now in the featherweight division (R).

The former UFC Lightweight Champ is set to face Charles Oliveira this weekend at UFC on FOX 21 which means he most likely still has additional weight to cut before officially stepping on the scales.

He will be looking to break his three fight losing streak in a new weight class. Prior to those three losses, Pettis had racked up five wins in a row, including winning the lightweight title against Benson Henderson in 2013.

What do you think? Is this weight cut an unhealthy route for Pettis? Or will a fresh start in featherweight be just what his career needs?
