Dana White has revealed details that could have major ramifications for the Jon Jones/USADA incident.
"It looks like Jon Jones did not take the supplement everyone thought he took," Dana White told Jim Rome on CBS Sports Radio. "It’s in other things."
"I don't even know if this is public," he added. "I didn't know if I can talk about it. Normally, I talk about anything, but when it comes to medical stuff, you can't do it. It's looking like Jon Jones did not take the drug everybody thought he took. It looks like it's something else."
This is in line with a video that Jones released over the weekend saying that he had good news, and was expecting to be in the Octagon again soon.
If this is the case, this could be a major turning point for potential doping violations that are generally thought to be hard to disprove.
"I'll let this thing play out," White said. "And if that's true and that's what USADA and the Nevada State Athletic Commission say happened, it could look good for Jon Jones."
Jones tested positive for two estrogen blockers ahead of his UFC 200 headlining bout with Daniel Cormier. He was removed from the fight and suspended pending investigation.
