Just one day shy of Ben Rothwell's departure from his intended UFC 203 bout with Fabricio Werdum, a new opponent has been confirmed.

According to MMA Junkie, Travis Browne will be stepping in to face the former champion for a second time. The bout is expected to be officially announced shortly. Rothwell was forced to pull out of the fight on Thursday due to an injury, by Friday a new opponent had been set.

Browne and Werdum have faced off once before at UFC on FOX 11 in April 2014. Werdum won the fight via unanimous decision.

Both fighters are coming off losses, Browne most recently at UFC 200 when he was knocked out by another former champion, Cain Velasquez.
