Mackenzie Dern is easily one of the biggest names in Jiu-Jitsu. Dern has won her division at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship two years in a row, and despite weighing 115 lbs, also placed third in the openweight category both times.
In July, she turned her attention to MMA, winning her professional debut against Kenia Rosas at Legacy FC 58. Dern was dominant for the entire three round fight, taking the fight to the ground with ease, and threatening multiple submissions.
Dern isn't about to slow down yet, and has already scheduled her next MMA fight. She will compete again at Legacy FC 61 on October 14. The event will be held in Dallas, Texas.
Her opponent has not yet been revealed.
Legacy FC 61 will be broadcast live on AXS-TV.
