Michael Bisping went straight from the set of xXx in Canada right into a short notice title fight, and won. So when the champion announced that he had landed yet another big movie role, I wasn't surprised (motherf---rs).
The UFC middleweight champ took to Instagram this past weekend to reveal that he had been cast in a sports biopic called My Name Is Lenny, which tells the story of Lenny McLean, one of Britain's most notorious bare-knuckle fighter.
Bisping will be playing a real-life figure named Roy "Pretty Boy" Shaw. Shaw was an English millionaire and real estate investor who was linked to the criminal underworld of London. He was also the known enemy of McLean (to see what that real Shaw looks like click here).
The film is set to be released in 2017 according to IMDB, and sounds like a pretty big opportunity for Bisping to show off his acting abilities. Filming appears to be happening in England, but there is no word yet when production will begin.
