It's the fight that we have been hearing about for months and it is finally a reality.

Michael Bisping went on Sirius XM Radio to announce that his highly anticipated rematch with Dan Henderson was official.

"Dan Henderson vs. Michael Bisping for the 185 pound middleweight title, October 8 from Manchester — live on pay-per-view. Do not miss it," Bisping said.

Since winning the belt back in June, Bisping has had only one name on his mind. He just beat Luke Rockhold, so he doesn't want an immediate rematch, and Chris Weidman lost his last fight, so Bisping thinks he needs another fight. Henderson is coming off an impressive knockout win against Hector Lombard and would give the veteran one last shot at the belt. It would also give Bisping his shot at revenge.

The two first squared off as coaches on The Ultimate Fighter where they weren't the best of friends. This eventually led to a tension-filled fight at UFC 100 where Henderson secured one of the most devastating knockouts in UFC history. Bisping has wanted this rematch for a while, and now he is finally getting it.

"Why did I choose a rematch for this fight? I don't get it, I don't understand. Why would I want to avenge the most devastating knockout in UFC history? I just don't know why I would do that," Bisping said sarcastically during an FS1 broadcast of UFC Fight Night back in July.

The fight will be in Manchester, giving Bisping the home field advantage. But Henderson is a veteran of the sport and knows what it is like to fight in a hostile crowd. These two are sure to put on a show and we will see if Henderson will ride off into retirement on a high, or if Bisping will send him packing.
