Cris "Cyborg" Justino vs. Lina Lansberg has been confirmed for UFC Fight Night Brasilia, Brazil.
According to a source with knowledge of the fight speaking exclusively to Champions.co the bout is set for the main event for the Sept. 24 fight.
Justino made her UFC debut at UFC 198 in her hometown of Curitiba, Brazil where she finished Leslie Smith just 1:21 into the first round. Justino has been undefeated in MMA for more than 10 years, and currently holds the 145 pound belt for Invicta.
Lansberg is on a six fight win streak and would be making her UFC debut. A shot at Justino, who is ranked the number one pound for pound female fighter according to ESPN, would be a career making move if she wins.
It's likely the pair will fight a catchweight bout at 140 pounds as that's where Justino fought last bout. Unless of course this is a sign that the UFC may be warming up to a 145 pound women's division.
Lansberg's coach teased a fight announcement on Instagram just last week.
