It's going to be a big week for Tyron Woodley! First he shocked the world at UFC 201 on Saturday, knocking out Robbie Lawler in the first round to become the new welterweight champion. Now he's revealed that he's also scored a big movie role, which he'll be heading down to Atlanta to shoot later this week.

"I don’t know if I can even say this, but I’m working on a Marvel movie on Thursday in Atlanta," Woodley told Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, via Spider-Man News.

While that might sound vague, at the moment, Spider-Man: Homecoming is the only Marvel project being filmed in Atlanta.

While Woodley is on track to become one of the all-time greats in the sport of MMA, he's definitely no stranger to Hollywood either. He had a small role in Straight Outta Compton last year, and did stunt work for Olympus Has Fallen in 2013.

In addition to Spider-Man: Homecoming, Woodley will also be appearing in Kickboxer: Vengeance in September, and is rumored to have a part in the next Fast & Furious as well.

Interestingly, Spider-Man himself Tom Holland was in attendance at UFC 201, watching his soon-to-be co-star kick some ass (and maybe picking up a few moves of his own).
