Fresh off his 18-month suspension, Nick Diaz has had a lot of fighters call out his name for a fight. One of the most interesting people that wants to face off with Diaz is newly crowned Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley.

"He is a money fight. I've been in this game, I'm an OG. I've been here for a while and I want to make the big dough. If he wants to fight in August with his brother, Nate Diaz, I think me and him can showdown at the event," Woodley said.

Though that would be only three weeks rest for Woodley and would be three weeks notice for Diaz following his year-and-a-half suspension, Diaz is still open to the idea.

Diaz talked with TMZ Sports on Monday about the potential chance to square off in the Octagon for the belt. Though he was not completely fond of the idea, it was nothing that a little money could convince him to do.

"I've seen all his fights, and I don't do the things that he does," Diaz said. "If they make me an offer I can't refuse [then I'll fight]. But I doubt that's going to happen. I don't owe anybody nothing. ... I'm not going to go after someone if I don't have a reason behind it."

Diaz is not shying away from the Octagon though, and still wants to face top competition. He just doesn't feel that the belt automatically makes you top competition.

"I want to fight the best guy. I always want to fight the best guy. I'm the one on top, they are dropping my name, and I don't need no fake ass piece of plastic. Fuck that."

The Diaz brothers are not shy when it comes to saying they are the best. Among the top draws in the UFC, getting Nick Diaz on the 202 card would make it one of the strongest cards of 2016, even larger possibly than UFC 200.
