Demtrious Johnson and Dominick Cruz might have a bone to pick with the light heavyweight champion after this.

Daniel Cormier was fulfilling his role as an analyst on FS1 when he was asked a question about whether fighters will start learning that USADA is cracking down on testing. Not only did he feel that USADA was cleaning up the sport, he felt that they were doing an amazing job. Cormier said that there was no fighter that was above the agency.

"I believe that USADA, not Dominick Cruz, is the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in MMA."

Cruz, who was also an analyst on the show, is currently ranked No. 2 on the P4P list and laughed off the comment. "Mighty Mouse" Johnson is the No. 1 P4P fighter in the UFC, but has not responded to the joke.

Cormier's words may have some weight to them. Currently ranked No. 3 on the pound-for-pound rankings, Jon Jones was recently pulled from his title fight against Cormier at UFC 200 due to failing a USADA test. Former Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was also caught by USADA following UFC 200.

USADA has shown that they test fighters indiscriminately. It does not matter how important you are to the UFC, if you are caught, you will be suspended. There is no fighter in the foreseeable future that will be able to take down USADA, and frankly that is probably best for the UFC.

As Lorenzo Fertita said, "It is going to get worse before it gets better." USADA is pushing so that better times will be coming soon.
