Jon Jones is maintaining his innocence since being flagged by USADA for a potential doping violation this month.

"Not trying to come across as a victim," Jones tweeted. "If anything I'm a victim of my own ignorance and yes, this could've been prevented."

Jones, who was meant to face Daniel Cormier at UFC 200, took to Twitter on Monday speaking with fans about his experience, all the while maintaining his innocence.

Jones claims he was unaware he was taking anything inappropriate and that he knows in his heart he is not a cheater.

He was temporarily suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission pending the investigation into two banned substances that appeared in Jones' system.

He says that he hopes that this experience can turn into something positive for someone.
