Amanda Nunes defeats Miesha Tate at UFC 200 on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Nunes came away with the first round submission via rear-naked choke to become the first ever UFC women's Brazilian champion.

"I try to make things happen in my life," she said in her post fight interview. "I respect Miesha Tate, but now I am the new champion."

Nunes opens the round with a quick kick to the former champion, but Tate answers back with a takedown. Nunes quickly bounces back with a knee and some heavy jabs to stun Tate. In the struggle Nunes was able to take Tate's back and finished the former champ with a rear-naked choke.

"Now I am going back to Brazil and I am taking this with me," she said motioning to the new belt around her waist.

"I will come back stronger after this," Tate said at her post fight interview.

This extends her record to 13-4.
