While the night has been riddled with knockouts and decisions, we finally have a submission to celebrate. Tatiana Suarez becomes The Ultimate Fighter season 23 strawweight winner by defeating Amanda Cooper by way of a d'arce choke.

While Cooper was fighting back and had several submission attempts of her own, she never had Suarez in any compromising positions. Suarez was able to push the pace of the fight and kept advancing on Cooper with her strong ground game. While it was an excellent submission by Suarez, one talking point will be how long it took Big John McCarthy to notice that Cooper was tapping. Regardless, Suarez's dominant performance was capped off with winning a Harley Davidson and be crowned The Ultimate Fighter.

The light heavyweight champion will be crowned next and will then be followed by the coaches battle between Joanna Jędrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha for the strawweight championship.
