Bellator hoped to make history again with Dynamite 2, a MMA and Kickboxing joint show, and it looks like they may have.
This time the promotion took to St. Louis, MO with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Satoshi Ishii headlining the card. Also on the line was the Lightweight belt featuring Michael Chandler and Patricky "Pitbull" Freire and a kickboxing rematch between Joe Schilling and Hisaki Kato.
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson defeats Satoshi Ishii by split decision, then says in his post fight interview, "I got a surprise for all you Bellator fans, I'm going to take a short vacation and come back."
But... didn't he just take a vacation?
Michael Chandler defeats Patricky Freire via first round knockout to win vacant lightweight title.
Check out the one punch knockout that ended it all below:
Matt Mitrione defeats Carl Seumanutafa via first-round KO after nearly losing via stoppage early in the round.
Ilima-Lei Macfarlane defeats Rebecca Ruth via second round submission (rear-naked choke).
Kevin Ross defeats Justin Houghton via unanimous decision.
Gloria Peritore defeats Denise Kielholtz via split decision.
Hisaki Kato defeats Joe Schilling via KO after Schilling dominated most of the fight. This marks the second KO for Kato against Schilling, both highlight worthy.
Raymond Daniels defeats Stefano Bruno via spinning back kick to the liver. (Just like he predicted)
Oh, and did you notice who was in his corner? (Yes, that's Georges St-Pierre).
