You might not know her by name, but I bet you've seen the video of her fighting a "soccer mom" at Xplode.

The video of the much more experienced Ilima-Lei Macfarlane went viral after people criticized the matchup between her and what the internet dubbed her "soccer mom" opponent.

Macfarlane, who spoke with last week, says people still ask about it and it used to bother her, but now she doesn't really care.

"I think it's always going to follow me around," she said. "The only thing I can do is just accept it and come to terms with it."

The fight, which caused an investigation into unsanctioned MMA events in California, went viral back in 2015 when MacFarlane destroyed her opponent in an extremely uneven match-up. Which, of course, had nothing to do with MacFarlane, although she got the brunt of the criticism.

"I take it in stride, we have to make a joke out of it now," she said. "She's not even a soccer mom, she has no kids."

Now, she's hoping to put that fight behind her and build a career with Bellator.

Macfarlane is currently undefeated with the promotion and has wins over Amber Tackett and Maria Rios. She is set to face Rebecca Ruth next at Bellator 157 on June 24.

"We've upped the ante on strength and conditioning because my next opponent looks physically strong and her cardio looks really good in her past fights" she said.

She says that her team has come up with two game plans for the fight and she feels confident with both of them in her pocket.

"For some reason I see it going all three rounds," she said. "She is really tough, I don't see her going down without a fight or tapping to any submission attempts. I have prepared myself for it to go all three rounds."

She promises it won't be boring.

"I predict a bloody war," she said. "I think it's just gonna be a brawl, we're just gonna just punch each other in the face."
