Reports of Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall fighting at UFC 200 are not correct, according to multiple sources who spoke exclusively with Champions.co.

Chael Sonnen spoke on his podcast recently and said that the pair will be facing each other at UFC 200 this July.

"Uriah Hall’s going to fight Anderson Silva at UFC 200. If Uriah Hall wins, he might be the guy (to challenge for the title next),” Sonnen said.

We spoke with two sources close to Silva who both denied such fight is taking place.

"He's not fighting at 200," one source said firmly.

As you might remember, Silva and Hall were set to face each other in Silva's hometown of Curitiba, Brazil in May, but just a few days shy of the fight Anderson fell ill and required surgery. Since then there have been reports of Silva's eagerness to reschedule the bout for the UFC's biggest card, 200.

"Anderson just came back from Brazil. I don't think [he's fighting at UFC 200] or else he would've stayed out there to finish his camp. He might be back at the end of summer," another source said.

Hall and Silva are both coming off loses, with Silva's being at the hands of current Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping. Hall is coming off a decision loss to Robert Whittaker.
