The world of combat sports can be a very brutal one indeed. The idea that fighters can endure long, hard training camps for months before a fight only to be knocked out inside seconds is a harsh reality.

Sometimes, when you taste the cold darkness of a knock out, the only thing you can do is give props to the individual who laid the smack down upon you. That's exactly what happened in a heavyweight bout between UFC veteran Paul Buentello and Bellator veteran Eric Brindle.

Fighting at at Abu Dhabi Warriors 4, the match ended fast and abruptly inside Round 1 with a stunning right handed knockout from Buentello. Thankfully, although out cold before he hit the mat, Brindle could appreciate the punch and gave Buentello the thumbs-up following the KO!
