ONE Championship VP Rich Franklin visited Mercy Centre in Bangkok, Thailand this month for the organization's first visit to the country.
Franklin, along with ONE Championship's current strawweight champion, Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, paid a visit to the center.
The pair interacted with the children, played games and even arm wrestled. They brought food and supplies to the center to help relieve some of the needs.
"The idea here is a ripple effect," Franklin said of the donation. "The impact we are making will hopefully make bigger waves on through time."
Franklin said that Amnuaysirichoke spoke to the children about hard work and not giving up.
"Dejdamrong is a man who came from a very poor background," Franklin said. "So they can associate with that. They can see the kind of success he has."
ONE Championship will hold it's next show in Bangkok on May 27 when Amnuaysirichoke will defend his title.
