UFC 198 is nearly upon us!
Taking place in Curitiba, Brazil, the fight card is so insanely stacked that even when losing the highly anticipated Anderson Silva vs. Uriah Hall fight, fans still have lots to look forward to.
The headlining fight will be Fabricio Werdum facing off against Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight championship. And indeed, the co-main event will see a tantalizing bout between Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza and Vitor Belfort for the No. 1 contender spot, but what fight is the fight to REALLY look forward to?
Step up the most dangerous woman in the world, Cris "Cyborg" Justino. The most feared woman in MMA will take on Leslie Smith in her long awaited UFC debut. A daunting task for Smith, as fighters don't come with more of a ferocious reputation than Cyborg. Already a legend in the world of woman's MMA, Cyborg is known for her vicious knockout power. It looks like May 14 could be a long night for Leslie Smith.
Below are five fights that will get you excited to see Cris Cyborg make her UFC debut against Leslie Smith!
Cris Cyborg vs Marisa at Storm Samurai
Earning a reputation in Brazil for her sheer brutality inside the ring, Cyborg was soon picked up by EliteXC following her vicious beat down on Marise Vitoria. She savagely beat Marisa into a fetal position before stomping her until the referee stopped the fight. A truly dominant performance, and one that announced Cyborg as one of the most dangerous woman in the world.
Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg in 2009
It was her fight against Gina Carano that truly announced Cyborg to the world. Headlining Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg in 2009, the Brazilian had the chance to establish herself as one of the scariest fighters in the world and that's exactly what she done. Gina Carano had already become the leading star of woman's MMA through her time at EliteXC. The promotion had been building her up for years, and now saw a potential super fight between Carano and Cyborg. Following the promotions collapse, Strikeforce stepped in with open arms to stage the biggest woman's MMA fight the world had seen.
Gina Carano faced the daunting task of Cris Cyborg's infamous steamroll style fighting. As the first round headed towards its close, a deluge of ground-and-pound forced a stoppage by the ref for a Cris Cyborg dominant win.
Invicta FC 5: Cris Cyborg vs. Fiona Muxlow
Following a year-long suspension for failing a post-fight drug test for anabolic steroids, Cyborg wanted to get back to winning ways. Her first fight back in the cage was to be against Fiona Muxlow, and it took a mere six seconds for her to floor Muxlow with a single right hand. What followed was an excruciating beat down with punches raining down on her and knees slamming her from the clinch. The fight was brought to a stoppage 3:46 into the first round. Cris Cyborg was back.

Invicta FC 6 - Cyborg vs. Coenen 2
At Invicta FC 6, Cris Cyborg once again entered the cage to take on the woman who had given her her hardest battle to date, Marloes Coenen. Fighting for the inaugural women's featherweight championship, Cyborg found the second fight much less of a challenge. Although making it's way to the fourth round, Cyborg dominated the fight in all aspects crowning herself the champion.

Invicta FC 15 - Cyborg vs. Ibragimova
Invicta FC 15 saw Cris Cyborg's third defense of her featherweight championship. Facing off against Daria Ibragimova, Cyborg once again finished off her challenger in the first round making it the ninth time she has done so in her career. Although Ibragimova seemed to be finding some joy in her cage control and takedowns, it was Cyborg who ultimately dealt out the damage as she always does. With 10 seconds left in the round, Cyborg upped the ante, rattling Ibragimova with a stunning right hand before pouncing on her. She just about beat the sound of the bell, getting the knockout finish at 4:58 into the first round.
If those fights haven't got you hyped for the UFC debut of the world's scariest woman, then I don't know what will. Cris Cyborg hasn't lost since 2005 and hasn't went to a decision since 2008. With three successful title defenses, all coming via knockout, it was clear that there was no further challenge for her in the Invicta FC roster. It's clear that Cyborg isn't scared by anyone and has already made her feeling clear on wanting to fight both Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm. The only problem would be the fight would have to take place at catchweight, as Cyborg doesn't see herself being able to cut to 135 pounds.
UFC 198 takes place this Saturday in Curitiba, Brazil 14 May.
