Canelo Alvarez is basically boxing's version of a tank rumbling through a town with no regard for human life. The fully armored machine's victim this time? Amir Khan.

The two headlined a card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, and the ending to the boxing match didn't disappoint. Alvarez landed a clean right hand that sent Khan's head bouncing off the floor like a damn basketball. Yikes.

GIF props to @GrabakaHitman.

Canelo almost immediately walked back to his fallen opponent and checked on him to see if he was OK. Class act, that Alvarez.

Arguably boxing's greatest problem is their habit of missing opportunities to make great matches. That being the case, it's almost certain that we won't get the fight boxing fans most desire: Canelo vs. Gennady Golovkin. According to Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Iole, Canelo will more likely fight Miguel Cotto again. Cue the eye-rolls.

Hopefully the boxing promotors listen to the masses, especially when Golovkin is tweeting stuff like this ...
