Anthony Pettis really needed a win tonight, having dropped his last two in a row. Unfortunately for the former Lightweight Champion, Edson Barboza proved to be too much for him to handle.

Pettis managed to win a close second round, but Barboza was the dominant fighter overall, negating Pettis's speed by controlling the range and pace of the fight.

With this decision victory, Edson Barboza is now 17-4 in his MMA career.
