Khabib Nurmagomedov used to be one of the most feared Lightweights in the UFC's roster. Then, an injury unexpectedly sidelined him for nearly two years, and he all but disappeared from the MMA scene.

Many wondered if Nurmagomedov would return the same at UFC on FOX 19 last night, if he still had the fire that led him to an unbroken 22-fight win streak over his eight year MMA career.

Well, it looks like Nurmagomedov is back and better than ever. Taking on short-notice opponent Darrell Horcher, Nurmagomedov had a slow start, but quickly built momentum into huge takedowns in both the first and second rounds. He proved to be absolutely dominant on the ground, pinning Horcher and launching a barrage of ground-and-pound that ended the fight at 3:38 of the second.

Overall, Nurmagomedov outstruck his opponent 121-17, in a truly devastating display. He now advances his record to 23-0, and prior to this event, had handed LW champ Rafael dos Anjos a decision loss.
