Bellator 157: "Dynamite 2" is scheduled to go down on Friday, June 24 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Announced today, the headlining fight will feature Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Japanese fighter Satoshi Ishii in a catchweight bout at 215 pounds.

The match-up will be Rampage's first in over a year (a unanimous decision victory over Fabio Maldanado at UFC 186).

His absence from competition wasn't by choice though, as he was caught in the middle of a lawsuit between the UFC and Bellator over an alleged contract dispute; an ordeal that nearly sent the former light heavyweight champ into retirement.

Satoshi Ishii meanwhile is best known for his gold medal performance in Judo at the 2008 Summer Olympics. His fight against Rampage will mark his MMA debut in the United States. He last stepped into the ring in December, for a RIZIN bout against Jiri Prochazka that he lost via KO.

Bellator's Dynamite 2, like the previous "Dynamite" event, will feature kickboxing alongside the usual MMA fights, and be air on Spike TV.

As for Jackson, his fight against Ishii will have to do for now. Rampage has actively voiced his interest to get into the octagon with Kimbo Slice, who Rampage coached during The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights. The two have had a longstanding good relationship and Kimbo was the one that brought the idea of a fight up to Rampage.

Unfortunately, Kimbo is currently on suspension due to failing his drug test after his grueling fight with Dada 5000 at Bellator 149. Rampage only has two more fights left on his Bellator contract, and there's no word on whether or not one of those will be with Slice.

Whoever Rampage does fight after Ishii though, he promises that it'll, at the very least, be entertaining... Even if it's against Kimbo.
