Even though it hasn't been officially announced yet, everyone seems to be talking about the heavily rumored rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz at UFC 200.
Jumping into the he conversation? Las Vegas.
The betting odds of the possible rematch were released this morning. Diaz, who was the underdog in the first matchup, has opened as the underdog once again, even though he defeated McGregor by submitting him in the second round at UFC 196.
According to oddschecker.com, Conor McGregor is listed as a -162 (8/13), the favorite over +125 (5/4) Diaz.
The rematch between McGregor and Diaz, when announced, will be a non-title welterweight title rematch and be in the main event at UFC 200.
According to Ariel Helwani, there's a reason the fight will be happening in the welterweight division.
“The reason that this fight is happening at 170-pounds is because, to be frank, Conor Mcgregor is a bit of a wild man. He wants, he is obsessed with the idea that he lost to Nate Diaz at 170-pounds. He feels like he should have won and he wants the same circumstances, same rules, same stipulations. He wants to do it again and he wants to prove that he is the better man.”
Do you think Diaz should still be the underdog? Has Conor McGregor bitten off more than he can chew... Again? Hopefully, with in the next couple of days, we'll find out if these two will square off once again. If so, it doesn't look like Diaz is going to get the respect he deserves this time around for beating McGregor the first time.
