Cris 'Cyborg' Justino is one of the scariest draws in women's MMA right now.
But that doesn't mean Miesha Tate wouldn't be against fighting her. Perhaps at UFC 200? At a fan Q&A in Brisbane on Friday, Tate responded to rumors about Zuffa exploring the possibility of having Justino fight in the UFC by echoing past statements that she would be more than willing to step up in weight and face the feared Brazilian.
Check out what she had to say:
"I've been hearing [the rumors] for such a long time, I just don't really know, I haven't had that confirmed. But I am open to that fight. Maybe doing it at a catchweight at 140. You know, I have nothing but respect for ‘Cyborg.' She freaking eats girls for breakfast. She's amazing. And it's like, what do I have to lose in that fight? I go out there and give it everything I have, and if I'm able to take out Goliath, then I am. Yeah, I would love to step in there with someone of her caliber."
Cyborg and Ronda Rousey don't really have a great relationship, but as for the other two queens of MMA - Holly Holm and Miesha Tate - she's on pretty good terms.
All three women recently joined together to shoot Fight Valley, an action film slated to release April 7. The silver screen experience was a first for all involved, and while Tate insisted that fighting will always come first, she also expressed interest in pursuing more acting roles in the future.
"I was really surprised that I actually really liked it, honestly. I didn't think I would be a very good actress, and I don't know, I have yet to find that out when I watch the movie if I was or wasn't. But I had fun with it, that's the difference. I didn't think that I would enjoy it as much as I did, but I did. It was really challenging and a completely different realm. It was hard, but I liked it and I think I would like to do it a little bit more."
