Despite the fact that the milestone event is not until July, MMA fans are desperate to know which bouts will feature on the card for UFC 200. Given that McGregor is now one of the biggest stars in the sport there are a good few potential fights for him that a lot of people want to see. From a super fight with Rafael Dos Anjos with the lightweight title on the line to a featherweight championship defence against Frankie Edgar, there are a handful of exciting fights in the future of "The Notorious" Irishman.

However, is now citing multiple sources, saying that McGregor's fight at UFC 200 will be a rematch. Not with Jose Aldo, who he beat in 13 seconds to snatch the featherweight championship, but with Nate Diaz. This match comes after McGregor tapped to Nate in the second round of their UFC 196 welterweight bout. In the post fight press conference Dana White told the world that this fight broke every record they have. Therefore it makes sense that they want to emulate that kind of success.

I must say I am disappointed to see that Frankie Edgar will not be getting a title shot at the big one, but hopefully that fight is for the near future. The Diaz vs McGregor fight is definitely an exciting one. Although it was a short match the first time around it was certainly fun, even the press conferences were explosive. This time around both fighters will be getting a fight camp with a set opponent so the second meeting should be crazy. I could have waited if it meant that "The Answer" would finally get a shot at the gold.

The two fighters have apparently made a verbal agreement to meet again at UFC 200. This one is sure to be a stacked card. The biggest pay-per-view in MMA history comes to us on July 9th.
