A big time middleweight bout is in the works between the legend himself Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall at UFC 198.

Sherdog.com has revealed that their sources told them on Wednesday evening this fight was going down. The UFC has not formally announced the 185-pound contest, but it is expected to be confirmed and finalized soon. UFC 198 would take place in Brazil, at Arena da Baixada in Curitiba on May 14th. It's headlined by a heavyweight title clash between Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic.

After a year on the sidelines thanks to a failed drug test, Silva returned against Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night in London, where he dropped a five-round verdict that was not without controversy. "The Spider" has not won a fight since October 2012, when he defeated Stephan Bonnar in the first round.

Hall is coming off an active 2015 in which he won three of his five Octagon appearances. Most recently, “The Ultimate Fighter 17” competitor suffered a unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC 193 this past November.

UPDATE: It's officially been confirmed (as of March 18th)!
