This is a mix between being news you never really want to hear and news that is incredibly awesome. I'm finding myself on the fence with how I feel about a brawl breaking out in Sydney, Australia, reportedly over the Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz welterweight bout at UFC 196.

One 17-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with a fractured eye socket, according to Yahoo! In other words, shit got real. There were initial arguments, apparently, between fans of the two sides that got too real... and more personal than they needed to get.

Check out full footage of the brawl:

The argument allegedly took place in the pub at the Ritz Hotel, Hurstville and then ended up on the street outside where the brawl erupted into a violent incident.

Here's the report, according to Yahoo! Sports:

Police were called to the fight on Forest Road just after 5pm when up to 50 people spilled out of the premises and onto the street, as onlookers captured the brawl on their mobile phones.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to to St George Hospital with a fractured eye socket and a second teenager had bruising to his forehead.
Police arrested a 15-year-old at the time and took her into custody for offensive language.

What do you think?

Who's side would you be on in this brawl? And would you have thrown down over a UFC fight?
