Nate Diaz's corner at UFC 196 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand in his welterweight bout with Conor McGregor consisted of Jake Shields, Richard Perez, and Kron Gracie.
Those are three guys who know what the fuck they're talking about. And when it comes down to strategy for beating - at the time - the most dominant force in MMA, it took serious preparation... even though the unit had less than two weeks to prepare.
Here's audio of the team letting Nate know what he should do. There was a lot of advice on catching kicks and trying to get McGregor to the ground... which he eventually does, getting him to tap out starting around the 3:36 mark - which is when he rocks McGregor.
