By now you may have heard that at the UFC 196 press conference on Thursday, trash talk was a huge thing. Even more so than usual... there was even more animosity between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz than with any fight that McGregor had been a part of before.

Conor McGregor was asked at one point what made him so special in comparison to other combat sports athletes and UFC fighters.

His answer:

“There’s a lot of people that play it safe in the game. Although there’s many scared pussies in the fight game if I’m being honest. They don’t take risks. And people who don’t take risks will never climb to that next level. I take risks all the time. Every single fight I’ve taken a risk, and I continue to do so.”

Conor doesn't think it's all that necessary to make any new friends in the UFC world. You either love this man or you hate his guts. And I respect people like that. He speaks his mind and backs it up, which is hard to hate on.

What do you think?

Does Conor McGregor have a point?
