Conor McGregor is in the final preparations for his historic welterweight fight against Nate Diaz. As UFC 196 creeps up on us, The Notorious one has become more active on his social media, giving us glimpses of his training, movement and flashy cars.

It was with one of these updates that the native Dubliner spotted something that blew him away. Cruising around Los Angeles the featherweight champ spotted a flat sporting his his countries flag and a cardboard cut out of himself on the balcony. Blown away by the support, McGregor vowed to drop in with the fan.

Love him or hate him, you have to admit that McGregor loves his fans and they love him. The Notorious one has never taken for granted the amount of support and love he receives from around the world, using it as inspiration for his fights. As we've came to expect, if Mystic Mac says he's going to do something, he does it.

While on his way to the gym, Conor McGregor shouted over that he'd drop in the following day as the fan shouted 'You're the f****** man'. True to his word, after a training session and along with his girlfriend Dee Devlin the pair dropped in to visit the mega fan who could barely hold himself together. Moments like this show the true nature of a champion. Although McGregor is known for his incredible trash talking, the featherweight champ has always maintained that he has the utmost respect for any fighter who steps in the cage with him.

His next fight will see two of the biggest trash talkers in the UFC go head to head. At UFC 196 Conor McGregor faces Nate Diaz at 170lbs. In a staggering move up to the welterweight division, McGregor will seek to cement his claim as the best athlete to ever enter the world of MMA.

March 5 is the collision date and it's going to be one hell of a night...
