The WWE's iconic and legendary Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is a massive figure in the world of wrestling and sports entertainment in general. The UFC's Dana White is slowly but steadily creeping into the upper echelon of sports management as well.

To see both men fighting - whether it was with MMA rules or pro wrestling rules - would almost guarantee massive ratings.

Knowing this, Vince McMahon tried to make it happen at WrestleMania 27. McMahon was very down, according to What Culture, but his exuberance surrounding this idea wasn't reciprocated by Dana White. He didn't think it was a good idea for his brand... and he was probably right, to be frank.

However, think about it...

Both guys are in pretty good shape. Sure, they're a bit old and aren't really professional athletes per se... but they could easily make some amazing content by jumping into the ring with each other.

Anyway, let's get back to how this didn't end up happening...

According to the report, McMahon was in contact with White in negotiations of having former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar fight The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27 when Lesnar was still contracted with the UFC. That match ultimately fell through and that is when McMahon entertained the idea of the match with White.

White turned down the idea of a worked pro wrestling match and McMahon again offered a shoot fight, which White also turned down.

What do you think, though?

Who would you take in a real fight between Dana White and Vince McMahon?
