Conor McGregor was a bit disappointed to hear that Rafael dos Anjos dropped out of the UFC 196 lightweight title bout he was supposed to take part in.
He broke his foot, sustaining a legitimate injury that many of his supporters believe was not at all an excuse. It's a little bit disconcerting though that this isn't the first time it's happened to McGregor (see Frankie Edgar, Jose Aldo, etc).
UFC president Dana White chose none other than Nate Diaz to replace him, but it would be in a 170 lb welterweight non-title bout.
Twitter had a lot of shit to say... and memes to show:
Pretty good stuff.
Do you think they made the right call?
Was Nate Diaz the right choice to fight Conor at UFC 196?
